Undersecretary of Ministry of Agriculture for Fisheries Affairs and Chairman of Aquaculture Biosecurity Committee, Engineer Jaber Alshehari, headed the 14^th meeting of Biosecurity Committee for Aquaculture Projects held in the ministry in Riyadh on March 10^th 2015 in presence of the committee members, experts, and constants. Eng. Alsherhi in the meeting beginning commended the achieved success of aquaculture industry during 2014 assuring the importance of complying with aquaculture biosecurity program and its regulations and applications by projects as well as studying to suspend the breaching projects. For his part, Director General of Fisheries engineer Ahmed Saleh Aleyadah showed requests to shrimp SPF by certain new species. On the other hand, the Ministry Consultant Dr. Luis Fernando tackled the current situation and updates related to application of biosecurity in aquaculture projects.

It is noteworthy that the meeting of Biosecurity Committee for Aquaculture Projects came as a complementary of the periodic meetings of Biosecurity Committee to follow up and show the updates of aquaculture projects.
