The 10th workshop comes within the periodic workshops specialized in following the latest updates of biosecurity developments in aquaculture projects in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. all farms and projects of the sectors including shrimp or fish aquaculture participated in the workshop besides experts, specialists, and certain investors. 
This workshop is the second during 2016 and up to date there is no single case recorded of diseases in aquaculture projects. This is a good index of the effectiveness and sufficiency of biosecurity program in projects and compliance with the related regulations and instructions. The workshop came after signing the Biosecurity Control Agreement between Ministry of Agriculture and Saudi Aquaculture Society which is expected to achieve a qualitative leap with regard to the sufficiency of projects control and biosecurity program management in Saudi Arabia.
