Today, November 20th 2016, under the sponsorship Deputy Minister for Fishery Resources; Engineer Ahmed Al-Eiadh, the Best Aquaculture Practices "BAP" Certificate 2nd Forum in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia opened. The form is held by Saudi Aquaculture Society and Ministry of Environment, Water, & Agriculture in cooperation with Global Aquaculture Alliance at Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski, Riyadh.
Saudi Aquaculture Society held the first forum about Best Aquaculture Practices "BAP" Certificate on September 9th 2016 aiming to introduce the significant of the Best Aquaculture Practices "BAP" Certificate and urged the projects working in the sector to have this certificate as one of the best safety and quality standards that will be reflected on the sustainability of projects, production quality as well as opening wide marketing horizons for the products labeled with this certificate.
The second form, held today, shall focus on the most prominent steps taken with regard to launching the Best Aquaculture Practices "BAP" Certificate program besides presenting the achievements since the program start.
