The Saudi Aquaculture Society and SAMAQ Quality Mark participated in the 2019 Saudi Agricultural Exhibition in conjunction with the third international trade fair for aquaculture. Under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the association, in cooperation with the National Program for the Development of the Fisheries Sector, launched the 32nd Biosecurity Applications Workshop, which was attended by a number of officials in the sector and in which Mr. James Lim, CEO of the Lim Shrimp Organization, which is considered the largest investor in the sector, participated in it. In the world in the aquaculture industry sector, he was honored for his participation in the workshop.

The Saudi Aquaculture Society and the Lim Shrimp Organization also signed a joint cooperation agreement to exchange experiences, technical support and consultations, as well as support investments.
