The Saudi Aquaculture Society, in cooperation with the National Program for the Development of the Fisheries Sector and the General Administration of Fisheries, organized a workshop on biosecurity applications in the twenty-fifth aquaculture projects on Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Jeddah, the Hilton Hotel. Al Sheikhi The workshop that discusses the state of biosecurity in aquaculture projects and the current health situation, and this workshop is organized periodically and continuously.

The main outcomes of the workshop were summarized in;

1- Exchanging experiences and expertise in the field of aquatic health.

2- The most prominent technologies in the field of aquaculture.

3- The periodic outputs of the project to monitor the biosecurity controls in the farming projects.

4- Updating the health status and production status of the projects.

5- Meeting of the Technical Committee for Biosecurity in the Kingdom.

The workshop was attended by a number of officials from major companies in the sector, and the most prominent specialists and experts in the field participated in it.
