Under the supervision of the General Administration of Fisheries and in coordination with the National Program for the Development of Fisheries and Livestock, the Saudi Aquaculture Society in Jeddah organized on Sunday, October 2, 2022 and for two days a training course entitled the importance of using genetic assets free of pathogens for cultured aquatic organisms. The most prominent outcomes of the course can be summarized Disciplinary

1- Learn about the genetics program of cultured aquatic organisms.

2- Laboratory diagnostic techniques and types of tests.

3- Reference lists for diseases of cultured aquatic organisms.

4- Biosecurity measures on farms.

5- A field visit to get acquainted with the facility of the genetic origins of aquatic organisms that are free of pathogens.

6- Building and developing the capabilities of human cadres.
