The Saudi Aquaculture Society is partnering with the “National Program for the Development of the Livestock and Fish Resources Sector” in launching the digital media campaign #WeLoveTheSeaToo much to change the eating habits of various segments of society towards seafood and farmed fish products and to enhance community confidence in these products by highlighting their health benefits and nutritional value. This contributes to raising the consumption rate of fish food to reach global consumption rates estimated at about (20) kilograms per capita annually, in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2023 in the fisheries sector.
