The Saudi Aquaculture Society held a training course for open water diving to qualify and develop the technical cadres in the society to conduct environmental surveys for aquaculture projects, floating cages and fisheries based on the society's plan to develop the environmental department.

10 specialized divers were granted accredited professional diving certificates.
