A joint meeting was held at Saudi Airlines Catering headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by H.E. Eng. Wajdi Mohammed Al-Ghabban- the CEO of Saudi Airlines Catering, Eng. Ahmed Bin Saleh Al-Eyadh- the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Agriculture, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Shaikhi- the CEO of the National Fisheries Development Program and Eng. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Odaibi- the Secretary General of Saudi Aquaculture Society.
During the meeting, it has been agreed that Saudi Airlines Catering would join the customers of the National Program for Certification of National Aquaculture Products "SAMAQ". The signing of a partnership agreement will be on the sidelines of the Second International Trade Fair for Aquaculture in conjunction with the 37th Agricultural Exhibition in October.
This agreement is a major addition to SAMAQ project, which gained the confidence of consumers and customers in record time, in line with the stringent standards applied by the program to commit to providing safe, healthy and fresh products at facilities that apply the best global practices in different aquaculture operations.
Through this expansion, the National Fisheries Development Program confirms its commitment to provide fish products that meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, in parallel with the launch of the Consumer Products Promotion Initiative to guide consumers towards safe food and access to global fish consumption as one of the objectives of the program.
