The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Agriculture, Eng. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Eyadah inaugurated the Exhibition of Saudi Aquaculture Society in Saudi pavilion participating in SIAL exhibition 2018 in the French capital Paris from 21st to 25th October 2018, which is organized by Saudi Exports Development Authority with the participation of 34 Saudi companies specialized in the field of Food.
 The Deputy Minister of the Ministry for Agriculture also visited the exhibition of General Investment Authority and Saudi Exports Development Authority. He praised the efforts exerted by the Saudi Export Development Authority to support Saudi industries and open regional and international marketing horizons, thus enhancing the contribution of food sector in the GDP of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

More than 7020 companies, from 109 countries around the world, participate in the food products in 21 exhibitions.
 National farmed products have achieved a significant leap in the terms of quality and competitiveness which culminated in the launch of the National Certification Program for National Aquaculture Products (SAMAQ). From the other side, Saudi Arabia's exports of farmed products are on the rise, with sales of 1 billion riyals in 2017 of fish and shrimp.
