His Highness Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd Balghanem, his Excellency Undersecretary of Fisheries Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands and number of officials of Ministry of Agriculture and Saudi Investors in Workshop on aspects of Saudi-Dutch cooperation.

In order to promote the partnership efforts between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kingdom of Netherlands in relation to developing the Fisheries Sector in KSA and the role that can be played by Kingdom of Netherlands in this field, due to its experiences; a workshop under title "aspects of Saudi-Dutch cooperation" on 03.02.1434 AH, corresponding to 17.12.2013 AD in the headquarter of Ministry of Agriculture in Riyadh City under sponsorship and supervision of His Highness Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd Balghanem, His Excellency Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands in KSA, his Excellency Undersecretary of Fisheries Affairs Eng. Gaber Al Shaheri and number of officials of Ministry of Agriculture and Saudi Investors and concerned persons in sector of fisheries and aquaculture.

Netherland has distinguished experiences in field of fisheries and aquaculture; especially in relation to using the closed systems in aquaculture and it also has rich experience and history in this field. Based upon the opportunities available in KSA and after presenting the national strategy, the Dutch party seeks to develop the fisheries and aquaculture sector that will lead the sector to enormous extension within the coming years.
