In cooperation with Ministry of Agriculture and Dutch Government, SAS has organized a workshop on application of closed systems in Aquaculture Projects in the headquarter of Ministry of Agriculture on 15.09.2013 AD. This workshop has aimed at utilizing the great Dutch experience in field of applying the closed systems in aquaculture projects, as Kingdom of Netherlands is one of the first countries that have used the closed systems and it is deemed as one of the largest producers at the level of the world using the closed systems in Aquaculture.

Number of the most prominent Dutch Authorities, whether the research or private authorities, have participated in order to show their distinguished experiences in this field. SAS and Ministry of Agriculture were working together to present all options before the investors as well as the utilization from all experiences  and presentation of the latest techniques witnessed by the world and used in aquaculture using the closed systems before the investors in KSA. The workshop has been attended by a great number of the interested persons and experts in field of aquaculture in KSA and Netherlands along with great group of the Saudi Businessmen and number of the officials. The discussion was about the positives and negatives related to using the closed systems and also the determination of the recommendations related thereto.
