In cooperation with Ministry of Agriculture and Australian Government represented by the Australian Embassy, SAS has held a workshop on farming Barramundi Fish in the closed systems, the Australian Experience on Tuesday 12.11.1434 AH corresponding to 17.09.2013 AD in headquarter of Australian Embassy in Riyadh City.
Through holding such workshop, SAS seeks to utilize the leading Australian Experience in field of farming and producing the Barramundi Fish in the closed systems and presenting and sharing the same with the Saudi Official and investors. Especially, Barramundi Fish (or Asian Seabass Lates Calcarifer) is one of the most prominent types of the economic fish that has proved a brilliant success in farming the same in KSA during the last ten years. This is one of the types widespread in KSA, whether in marine fish projects or freshwater farms, because it is distinguished by the quick growth, metabolism rate and easiness of hatching and culturing.
